This is a well made hook and I like the pointy head on it. I'm not a big fan of bamboo, but this one isn't as grabby as many can be. The only "con" I've found is that the bottom of it is so flat and the hook seems a bit short, so the edge digs into my hand a bit. It would be more comfortable to use if it was an inch or so longer or had a more rounded bottom.
